The Street Gym ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Data we collect:

• Account details: name and email address.
• Fitness & health metrics: weight, height, goals, dietary preferences.
• Activity data: workout logs, cardio sessions, gym attendance, meal plans.
• Payment data: handled securely by Stripe; we do not store full card details.

How we use it:

• To generate personalised workouts and meal plans.
• To track your progress and gym attendance.
• To manage your membership and subscription.
• To operate the community feed (posts you choose to share).

Legal basis:

We process your data on the basis of contract (providing the service), consent (optional community features) and legitimate interests (security and service improvement).

Your rights:

• Access, correct or delete your personal data.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Request data portability.
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk).

To exercise these rights, contact your gym admin or request account deletion from within the Profile page.

Data retention:

We keep your data for as long as your membership is active. After cancellation, data is deleted within 30 days unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

2. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on first visit.

3. Medical Disclaimer

The workouts, meal plans and guidance provided by The Street Gym are for general information and educational purposes only. They are not medical advice.

Always consult a qualified medical professional before starting any new exercise programme, diet, or if you have any health concerns. You participate in all activities at your own risk. The Street Gym accepts no liability for injury, loss or damage resulting from use of this app.

4. Terms of Use

• Membership is £35 per month and renews automatically until cancelled.
• Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Your subscription grants access to gym facilities, personalised workouts, meal plans, nutrition tools, and community features.
• You may cancel anytime from your Profile page; access continues until the end of the current paid month.
• Accounts are subject to admin approval; misuse may result in suspension without refund.
• Do not share your account; community posts must be respectful and lawful.
• Refunds are issued at the discretion of The Street Gym management.
